The whole day takes place at Henham Barns: ceremony, drinks, dinner and dancing all in the same spot. No moving between locations, no second venue to find.

Trains run every hour from Ipswich. Taxis absolutely have to be pre-booked, as there will not be any available at the station.

We won't be organising a shuttle. If you're not staying on site, taxis will need to be pre-booked. There's no Uber out here, so a couple of local firms worth calling: M&R Cars, Woodbridge is a good bet, and it's worth having a backup number to hand for a busy Saturday night.

There's no need to drive between anywhere on the day, it's all in one place. Easy peasy.

Although on-site accommodation covers two nights, there is no organised event happening on Friday night or Sunday morning, it's just a base to sleep from.

Check-in is from 6pm on Friday. Check-out is by 11am on Sunday. If you're staying, you'll need to sort your own transport and dinner for Friday evening: either self-cater (all rooms have a small kitchenette) or head out to one of the spots listed below.

If you're not staying on site, there are lovely places to stay nearby in Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh. You're welcome to leave your car on site overnight and collect it the next day.

Think summer wedding in the countryside. The ceremony and drinks will be outdoors if the weather is kind, so bear that in mind when it comes to footwear on grass. Beyond that, there's no strict code, wear whatever makes you feel wonderful and ready to celebrate.

Honestly, having you there to celebrate with us is the only gift we're after. We've been lucky enough to set up home together already, so instead of a traditional gift list, we've put together a small registry, but please don't feel the slightest obligation.
